1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are used to remember information about your visit, such as authentication status, preferences, or session data.
2. Cookies We Use
Belle uses one strictly necessary cookie, plus marketing cookies that are only ever set if you agree to them:

The marketing cookies are set by the Meta Pixel, which we use to measure how our advertising performs. They are not loaded at all unless you accept them, and they are never used on the Belle app itself, only on this marketing website. Our usage analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookieless and sets no cookies.
3. Your Choices
Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC), consent is not required for cookies that are strictly necessary for a service explicitly requested by the user. It is required for everything else.
The belle_refresh cookie is essential for maintaining your authenticated session, so it is exempt and always set. The Meta Pixel is not exempt: nothing is sent to Meta until you accept, and refusing is one click, exactly as easy as accepting.
You can change your mind at any time. Refusing, or clearing the choice, stops the pixel loading on your next page view.
4. How to Manage Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are stored on your device
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies at once
- Block cookies from specific sites or entirely
- Set preferences for first-party and third-party cookies
Please note that blocking the belle_refresh cookie will prevent you from staying signed in to Belle. You will need to log in again on each visit.
